Candidate Videos on the Web - First for Crawley Labour

To help the voters of Crawley, the local Constituency Labour Party is trying, for the first time, a new way to communicate with the voters of Crawley through brief videos of Labour candidates standing in Gossops Green, Ifield, Tilgate and Southgate in the coming borough elections on 5th May.

The short (3 - 5 minute) videos, which were made on a voluntary basis by the CLP Chair and keen film-maker Julian Charatan, highlight the work and community activities the candidates are involved in, their thoughts on the town and their plans for the future.
Feedback from the voters of Crawley is sought and if the experiment is a success more videos will be made for future elections.

The videos are available on Social Media via Facebook: www.facebook.com/crawleylabourcandidates2016, on the web through the official Crawley Labour Party web site; http://www.crawleylabour.org.uk,  and directly through the following links:

and are available on YouTube on the ‘Crawley CLP’ channel (search: ‘Crawley CLP’ on YouTube).

CllrPeterSmith_2.jpgPeter Smith, Labour candidate for Ifield and Ifield West said: “Crawley CLP has always tried to embrace new and better ways of communicating with the people of Crawley. This is a great way for the people of those areas who have not had the opportunity to meet the candidates yet to get an idea of who they are and what they stand for in a, hopefully, engaging way. ”
