Following the release of the Conservative manifesto, Tim Lunnon has said:
"This manifesto should be treated with the same regard that the Tories treated their previous policies. Words they have no intention delivering. Previous promises on the deficit, debt, hospitals and the NHS and immigration have failed to be delivered on. As we saw recently with national insurance for self employed workers, the Tories are more than happy to make a complete U-turn on what they promised. Labour will deliver on its pledges as we have before and deliver a government for the many, not the few."
